A Wrinkle in Time or a Wrinkle in Evil?

I like to see ratings and read reviews before I expose myself to new-agie garbage like this. So I did some research and found, as usual, all kinds of reviews from one end of the spectrum to the other. I suppose if any of us had read the novel by Madeleine L’Engle we might have a better idea of what to expect. So I am sharing who she was and what she was about because I believe it will give us much needed information about this story and whether or not to go and see what Disney and Hollywood have done to it. I must say that I do not believe there is anything Christ-like in either the book nor the movie. Did she use Scripture in the book? Yes, but satan also knows God’s Word and how to twist it to accomplish his purpose against mankind. Another great idea is to research the director and see what her beliefs are.

I strongly suggest that all parents who call themselves Christian, which means to be Christ-like, go to our Lord and ask Him if they should take their children to see it. At the very least, I suppose it could be a teachable time for children who are emotionally and spiritually mature enough to understand. Here is a great question that all of us Christians ought to live our lives by, “Does it glorify God?”

Concerns about the teachings of Madeleine L’Engle, the author of A Wrinkle in Time

Born: 1918 / Died: 2007

Faith: Liberal Episcopalian with New Age and mysticism beliefs—“official writer-in-residence at New York City’s Episcopal Cathedral of St. John the Divine, which is known for its prominent position in the liberal wing of the Episcopal Church”—a church which some have called apostate and very New Age

EVOLUTIONIST—She was a theistic Evolutionist, enamored with science claims about the universe. “I read very widely. I have friends who send me the magazine Discover and scientific articles they think I’ll be interested in. So I’m able to keep up with what’s going in the world of physics and particle physics, which to me is theology. These people are dealing with the nature of being—which to me is theology much more than that of the theologians, who argue about peripheral things.”

UNIVERALIST—She believed in and promoted the unbiblical idea of universal salvation—that is, that EVERYONE who has ever lived is going—or has gone—to be with God, and there is no Hell. Naturally, this made her very popular with many. —Rebuttals: Will all mankind eventually be saved? Answer / HELL: Fact or Fiction—Is it an actual place? Answer

She believed that parts of the Bible are “fantasy.”

She falsely claimed that Jesus was not sinless (A Stone for a Pillow, p. 176).

Religions of the world were honored by her as bearers of truth and light, and enemies of darkness. —Rebuttal: RELIGIONS—Many ways to God? Aren’t all religions basically the same? Answer

Given her belief in Universalism, it is not surprising that she was dismissive of the wrath of God, the fear of the Lord and Christ’s death in atonement for our sins. In New Age fashion, she twisted the word “atonement” to mean “at-one-ment” with the universe (p. 203).
She wrote that mankind is not the “pinnacle of creation” and that we are no more important in God’s view than “stars or butterflies or baboons,” because we are all part of “the whole” (pp. 202-203). (To the contrary, God’s Word reveals clearly that Adam was created in the image of God, was given dominion over His creatures (Gen. 1:26-28) and humanity is in God’s prime focus from the beginning of Creation, throughout history and into the future—designed to commune with God and bring glory to Him.)
In summary, Madeleine confused truth with great errors, rejected the true God of the Bible and His inerrant Word—discarding parts of the Bible she disliked. Like so many people in our time, she preferred to believe in an imaginary divinity of human invention—more to her own liking.
Through over 40 books for children and adults, seminars, and personal appearances, her influence was strong and widespread.

I am also sharing some of the reviews of the movie that I am finding out there:

“A WRINKLE IN TIME is based on a beloved book by Madeline L’Engle, but veers from the book’s original Christian allegory and inserts New Age messages and a very confusing plotline. It seems as if the filmmakers spent most of their time focusing on the CGI aspects of the movie, in order to create a great spectacle, rather than working on the story. Overall, Movieguide® advises extreme caution for A WRINKLE IN TIME.”

Disney Tries to Scrub Christianity From Existence in New Blockbuster, Pays a Big Price

“This movie is packed full of new-ageism. Themes such as “inner light”, “centering”, “becoming one with the universe” are a few for example. Although there is a good lesson about the power of love, there is NOTHING in this film that promotes a Christian worldview. In fact, whereas God’s word teaches of humanity’s need for redemption by the blood of Jesus, this film promoted the idea that we can simply choose to live by the light that is already in us. If I had known this prior to buying a ticket, I probably would’ve skipped this one. I actually found myself praying over my eight-year-old daughter in the movie that these things would not enter her heart. Prayerfully consider these things before taking your children & allow Holy Spirit to guide you. Blessings 🙏🏻” Pastor and father, Aaron Wall

This one I found especially interesting as this movie seems to put out there the act of channeling demon spirits:

A Wrinkle In Time: Satan’s best Sermon

If you have seen this movie and got chills, then you are not alone. This movie was filled with some of the best teachings that Satan has to offer. If you were a new ager, a witch, a yogi, or satanist you would have found your home here. This movie will reboot and throughly cleanse the sinus of demonically filled people.

No time was wasted. The trinity Oprah, Mindy Kaling, & Reese Witherspoon covers the basis for all races. The black, brown, and white coalition was in place. Oprah being the Father, Mindy the Holy Spirit, and Reese was Jesus Christ. They each played their role as entities of light. They were guides who taught the main character how to astral project. They used yoga as the entry point for the light (Satan) to enter. At the point of Mindy’s eyes going white, flashes real quick, demons entered the people in the movie theater. Oprah’s demonic power is impressive. Evil spirits of depression, fear, and anxiousness.

A superb way to keep one entangled. The hook that keeps one chained to demonic methods of living that loop over and over again. I heard a young girl express her delight in the movie and tears began to fill my eyes and I felt it difficult to hold them back. Ignorance may be temporarily blissful, but it will not protect you from the truth. Demons entered the children as well. Parents totally unaware of what transpired. Simply heart breaking, but A Wrinkle in Time is brilliant.
There was one statement that stuck out to me. “Light enters through the wound.” I have found speaking to demons that women who birth children out of trauma are the easiest to enter. It is no coincidence that when you see a homosexual, they all have a trauma story. The angel of light (Satan) enters through the trauma. Why do you think entering a fraternity requires a ritual that produces trauma? A gang? A secret society? Hollywood? It is the reason young girls and boys are sexually abused. It produces trauma and demons enter.

The trauma is the hook that keeps one enslaved to sin and in bondage to all kinds of addictions that are harmful, suicidal, genocidal, and homicidal. This movie moves past the understanding of most of the adults who will watch it, but their children will receive the message loud and clear. The universe in this movie is Satan and he will teach you how to enter the spirit world and you can in the spirit move faster then the speed of light.

If you have watched this movie with your children ignorantly, then pray this prayer.

Heavenly Father, I am aware that ignorance does not save me or my family. What I don’t know can kill me. Your word says over and over again to get knowledge and wisdom and understanding. To seek it as for hidden treasure. Forgive me. As the leader of my home, I should have watched over my children. Lord Jesus, send your healing. Touch me and the rest of my family with your cleansing blood. Rescue my children from filthy spirits that seek to destroy and remove from them every disease satan has planned for their life. Bring conviction to me, so that I walk well in this evil world where Satan is the prince of the air (airwaves). In Jesus name.
Lord, I know you don’t dwell in unclean temples. I know offending you will not go well with me. Fill me Lord. Give me a fresh touch. Restore me and my family in Jesus name.

Being Aware of Faith-Friendly Companies Helps us to be Better Stewards of God’s Money

So I suppose I should say happy Black Friday. Except I never really cared much for this day. Kudos to those who have the courage to do it.

My thoughts today are strongly on how God intervened in this Presidential election and had mercy on His children. Not only am I certain that God intervened to try and turn this country around for the good and bring Him back into it, but I also believe He woke many of His children up to finally take a stand before the progressives would totally destroy what God began here. It appears that there really are many more Christians in this country than we were sure of over the past couple of decades.

I would encourage my brothers and sisters in Christ to stay strong in doing right and continue to take a stand for Godly values and not expect those in charge to do it for us. God heard our prayers and answered them, because we stood up and said “Enough!” He has won this battle, but there are many more to overcome in the near future. It will take all of us on our knees and attempting to live a truly Christ-like life to bring about the needed changes in this blessed land. “This Little Light of Mine, I’m Gonna Let it Shine!” ought to be a song in all our hearts. Can the Lord continue to count on us to do our part?

It appears that many are not aware of some of the resources at our disposal to stand for Godly principles and really make our country great again. As many are out there trying to get the best deals for their loved ones to have a happy Christmas, I wonder how many are aware of the companies who are “faith-friendly.” We can be encouraged by the fact that for every company used by evil there is an alternative for Christians to turn to.

We must understand that when we give the money that God blesses us with to those companies who attack God’s morals and therefore His children, we are encouraging them to think that it is okay with us that they destroy the lives of those who strive to live out their Christ-like beliefs in these tumultuous times. After all they do not hide the fact that they take our money to further the agenda of the progressive left. It should really bother us that the money God gives us helps contribute to groups, such as the homosexuals, who sue our brothers and sisters out of business, and in the process destroy their livelihoods, because they do not agree with their lifestyle. We know that that group of people is only between 1% and 2% of our total population, yet they seem to get more done for evil than God’s children do for God’s Kingdom. We must also make ourselves aware of those judges who stand for God or evil.

Let us not stop shining for Jehovah God just because the election appears to have went the way we wanted it to. The evil ones are right now trying to influence those in power to try and undo the results of this election. I believe that our mighty God is more powerful than they, and He will not let that happen. But He needs each and everyone of us to live for Him, and continue to stand up and make our voices heard for Him. There are many more of us than there are those influenced by evil.

Some would say, “There are many companies who contribute to the devil’s evil agenda. We can’t know them all, so it does not matter if we spend God’s money there.” (I know, hardly makes any sense at all does it.) Well, there are resources to make us aware, and I will share one shortly. My answer is, “We may not know all of those doing satan’s work, but there are many who are blatantly open about their “agenda.” We have empowered them by saying nothing and supporting their cause with God’s money! So because we do not know all of them, should we still choose to give God’s money to those we are aware of and help them further evil in our country?!” I would say that is just plain laziness on the part of the Christian.

Luke 16:10 “He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.”

When we are made aware of even one who goes against Godly values and furthers satan’s values, we have a choice to make. We can either say no and refuse to contribute to their agenda, with God’s money, or we can say we do not care, like we have in the past, and then when things are gone awry and we suffer the consequences of sticking our heads in the sand, we will again ask, “How did this happen?” Really?!

I have shared this information before, and I feel led to do it again. The Faith Driven Consumer organization works very hard to do the work required to help us be aware of faith-friendly, and not so faith friendly companies that help us to make the Godly choices this country so badly needs to get back to following a Holy God. “Because He is Holy, we are to be Holy.” Although this is just one area where we can choose to make a Godly difference, it is a very important starting place.

If we are putting God first in all areas of our lives, this is not a hard choice to make. Colossians 1:18 “And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.”

I am sure there are more organizations like this out there. Please share any that you know of.

Only the Armor of God is Our Arsenal!

EVERY BORN AGAIN CHILD OF GOD MUST IMPLEMENT THIS IN OUR LIVES EACH AND EVERY DAY! Yes, only the armor of God will win the battle of spiritual warfare that we all face if we are born again by the blood of Jesus Christ. When we become children of God, we not only inherit God’s blessings but God’s enemies as well. The Lord’s foremost enemy is satan, whose purpose is to destroy God’s work – John 8:44 “Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” But, Jesus came to “destroy the works of the devil!” 1 John 3:8 “He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.”

satan is a fallen angel – Isaiah 14:12-15 “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.” As a fallen angel, he is only a created being. He is in no way equal to God, our Creator! While satan is superior in intellect and strength to mankind, he is inferior to God in every way. Believers have the power of the indwelling resurrected Christ over them and protecting them. All we have to do is use the Living Word of God and believe, His power will overcome the enemy – 1 John 4:4 “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” (Man do I wear that verse out!)

In addition, believers have been given the whole armor of God “to stand against the wiles of the devil” – Ephesians 6:11 “Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”

Each piece of the armor is to be put on to help believers overcome the temptations and attacks of the evil one!

  1.  Having Girded Your Waist with Truth (Ephesians 6:14): The waist or abdomen area was generally thought to be the seat of emotions. To gird this area with truth is to commit your emotions to believe the truth. Often a person knowingly allows herself to believe a lie because of fear or self-pity. Believers must hold a commitment to truth regardless of the repercussions – John 8:32, 36 “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free…If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”
  2.  Having Put on the Breastplate of Righteousness (Ephesians 6:14): “Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;” The breast is generally thought of as the place of the soul. The heart must be kept pure and righteous because sin gives a foothold to the enemy. We must confess our sin, and then forgiveness on the basis of the blood of Christ cleanses our hearts – 1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
  3. Having Shod Your Feet with the Preparation of the Gospel of Peace (Ephesians 6:15): “And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;” The proper shoes enable our feet to go from place to place. The believer is to be about her Father’s business, which is to spread the gospel of peace and reconciliation. An unshakable sense of this mission will keep us headed in the right direction – Matthew 28:19, 20 “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
  4. Taking the Shield of Faith (Ephesians 6:16): “Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.” Notice it says ALL the fiery darts of the wicked. The wicked one is “the accuser of our brethren” – Revelation 12:10 “And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.” He will send his fiery darts to instill doubt, fear, and guilt. Faith acts as an invisible shield that deflects such false accusations – Hebrews 11:6 “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” The one thing that helps us keep that faith is memorizing these words from God and using them against that evil accuser. God’s Words are living and they have power from on High that we do not have. Remember how Jesus did that when He was tempted by satan?
  5. Take the Helmet of Salvation (Ephesians 6:17): “And take the helmet of salvation,” A helmet protects the head, that is, our brain and our thoughts (yes, satan can try to attack us and make us doubt by getting into our thoughts. We must come against those thoughts immediately, for we learn to know and discern right away that such thoughts are not from God. And evil MUST flee at the name of Jesus – “the LORD rebuke you satan”, “get thee behind me satan, in the name of JESUS I command you!”). Assurance of Salvation is a mighty defense against doubt and insecurity and the kinds of works that are bred by them – 1 John 5:11-13 “And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.” What an awesome, assuring promise! Memorize it!
  6. Take the Sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:17): “and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:” The Word of God, the only offensive weapon in this armor, was used by the Lord Jesus against satan as I said above. We find this account in Luke 4:1-13. As I said, the Word of God is living and all powerful as well as effective and instructive (Hebrews 4:12; 2 Timothy 3:16, 17) “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart…All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.”
  7. Praying Always (Ephesians 6:18): “Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;” Prayer opens communication between us and God. In the midst of battle, we as believers MUST keep in CONSTANT communication with our Leader for directions and encouragement. Our prayers for one another are important and effectual – James 5:16 “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”

Be Not Deceived by satan’s tools!

Elisha’s Encounters with Children (2)

“Then he took his eldest son that should have reigned in his stead, and offered him for a burn offering upon the wall…”

The Moabites were an army deceived by what appeared to be a blood-drenched battlefield (vss. 21 & 22). The mistake soon turned into a rout! The king of Moab, then took his oldest boy, his heir and sacrificed him! Here we are confronted with a child of some upbringing, a king’s son, who is sacrificed.

Elisha was the designer of the battle plan, per the Lord’s instructions, that brought about the confusion in the looming conflict (vs. 16ff). As a side note, an important feature of this God-directed plan was music. In verse 15, a minstrel played and God’s hand rested on the man of God. I know I’m considered by many as old fuddy-duddy, but music plays an important role in the lives of its listeners as well as the participants. Nothing I can write or say will change your mind; it’s like concrete–thoroughly mixed up and firmly set! But, God help you parents to at least know what your teens and pre-teens are listening to.

Some children have been raised properly to a point and then for whatever reason parents waver from the way of right, decency and good sense. Discipline that was once demanded becomes ignored. Consistency is perhaps the most important ingredient of all in child rearing. Sometimes. self-indulgence, self-pity or self-love replace discipline, consistency and tough-love. The sacrifice of a child shadows a foreboding future with regret. –Dr. Tim Green

On the subject of music, I can testify to the very firm fact that music does, indeed, play a major role in human behavior. Let us not forget that satan was the angel of music at one time, and he certainly knows how to entice and captivate the human mind, leading us astray in whatever weakness we may have. Music is just like anything else in this world. If it is taking first place over the Lord, it is an idol. When my girls were teenagers I made it a point to know exactly what they were listening to. Many is the time I threw their music in the trash, and taught them to take notice of what was going on in their minds and behaviors, and how their moods changed, when they listened to the heavy metal, rap, or any other worldly trash of the day. “Garbage in, garbage out!”

I was raised on old-time country music, and let me tell you that when I hear some of it today, I am reminded of some pretty bad memories from my past because of poor choices. For me, if it is not about the Lord, I usually do not have a desire to hear it. And every time I try, for just a bit, to listen to some old 70s favorites it does not take long for a sad or bad memory to surface, and I am led back to the good old uplifting songs of faith. AND, do not be deceived! Many of the very successful artists of this worldly music have admittedly sold their souls to that old devil and they use their music for his purpose. They do not hide it! They receive fame and fortune in return, but sadly, their souls will spend eternity in hell with their deceiver unless they turn from it. Is that the road we want our children to go down, or ourselves for that matter?! BE INFORMED:

We Must Never Forget!

We are seeing these words everywhere today, but it is on my heart to say that we must never forget the horror of that day. Too often, as time passes, we tend to become complacent and forget what evil can do on our soil. This is why we have taken the war to where it belongs. I long for the day when there will be no more evil and no more war.

I will never forget the heart-rending pain I experienced as I watched, with tears streaming down my face while innocent people jumped from the buildings, knowing there was no way out. As painful as it still is to me, I make myself remember the suffering and loss of innocent lives at the hands of evil. At the same time, I am reminded of Psalm 37.

“Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him and he shall bring it to pass. And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.” My prayers go out to the families and friends of all those innocent lives lost on September 11, 2001.

Becoming a Godly Woman Part 3

English: Wine grapes. Español: Uvas de vino ro...

Titus 2:3 “The aged women likewise, that they be in behavior as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;”

Today’s topic will cover “not given to much wine”. I think that is pretty straightforward in that we are not to be drunk with wine. I would go so far as to say that it would be unwise and a very bad example to consume alcohol at all. Would those looking to us for guidance take us seriously if they witnessed us in a drunken state? Of course not. In fact it would be more likely that we would cause some to stumble in their walk.

I find that God’s word, as always, says it best:

Proverbs 20:1 “Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.”

Proverbs 21:17 “He that loveth pleasure shall be a poor man: he that loveth wine and oil shall not be rich.

Proverbs 23: 29-32 “29. Who hath woe? who hath sorrow? who hath contentions? who hath babbling? who hath wounds without cause? who hath redness of eyes?”

“30. They that tarry long at the wine; they that go to seek mixed wine. 31. Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, when it giveth his colour in the cup, when it moveth itself aright. 32. At the last it biteth like a serpent, and stingeth like an adder.”

Proverbs 31:4-6 was written as wise advice to a king, but I feel that it is also fitting for those of us who wish to become a Godly example to others:

“4. It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine; nor for princes strong drink:
5. Lest they drink, and forget the law, and pervert the judgment of any of the afflicted.
6. Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish, and wine unto those that be of heavy hearts.”

Though alcohol may be used to sooth and comfort, it is only temporary, and we must be aware of the dangers it imposes on its victims. It dulls our senses, limits our judgment, hinders our self-control, and destroys our bodies and minds. Very many families and marriages are destroyed by it as well. It is not a solution to any problem. Instead of losing ourselves in alcohol; why not find ourselves in God?

Becoming a Godly Woman Part 2

English: Portrait of Rebecca Greenleaf Webster...

Titus 2:3 “The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;”

My last entry focused on what it means to be Godly with behaviour that becomes holiness. Today’s topic is false accusers. The Greek word for false accuser is diabolos (dee-ab’-ol-os). It means devil or slanderer. Nowadays we call them gossipers. I think we can all agree that gossiping is not Godly behaviour; it is quite the opposite and very harmful.

Gossipers are known for starting or spreading malicious rumors, and/or divulging personal information that someone has trusted them with. Noah Webster’s 1828 American Dictionary defines a gossiper as: “One who runs from house to house, tattling and telling news; an idle tattler.”

Are they always women? No, men have been known to do it too, but I would say that women are the weaker vessels in this area. Are they always older women? No, but older women are to set an example for the younger, inexperienced women. Have I ever gossiped about someone? Yes, I shamefully admit that I have. One thing though – the Holy Spirit has convicted me very quickly, helping me to make things right when I have joined in on gossiping. I was also taught, growing up, not to say anything behind a person’s back that I would not be willing to say to that person’s face.

Have I been hurt by others’ gossip? Most definitely, and God lays it on my heart to remember those times when I feel tempted to prattle on about someone else. I pray daily (and sometimes constantly) that God will guide and control my tongue along with my thoughts and actions. Left to my own devices, I cannot overcome any temptation.

I have seen precious souls leave God’s house because of one person’s thoughtless scuttlebutt. Some have found a new church home, but some were so devastated by such hurtful actions that they left the church never to return. Also, sadly, lifelong friendships have ended because of an uncontrolled tongue.

Our speech comes from one of two sources – Satan or God:

Words that are motivated by Satan are full of bitter jealousy, selfish ambition, earthly concerns and desires, nonspiritual thoughts and ideas, disorder, and evil.

In Contrast:

Words that are motivated by God are full of purity, peace, consideration for others, submission, mercy, sincerity, impartiality, and goodness.

If we are sincerely seeking to know God more each day, we are in His word, listening to His direction in our prayer time, busy about God’s work, and caring for our families. That leaves no time to focus on what may or may not be happening in other peoples’ private lives. The old saying, “idle minds are the devil’s workshop,” is appropriate here.

Luke 6:45 “A good man (or woman) out of the good treasure of his (or her) heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man (or woman) out of the evil treasure of his (or her) heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his (or her) mouth speaketh.” Additions in ( ) are mine.
