Beware of False Prophets-Know God’s True Word

Do Not Be Deceived

I am reading in Matthew 24 and 25 the past few days. I love the promise Jesus gives us in Chapter 24:22 “And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.” We can easily find, because the internet is so full of anything you can imagine and find, false doctrines being pushed that the Rapture will happen after the Great Tribulation. I just have to shake my head and laugh at such foolishness. They are in essence calling Jesus a liar. Then look at what Matthew 24:31 says, “And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” The angels shall gather God’s elect/children/saints from one end of heaven to the other! How did they get there? Why, by the Rapture or the catching up together to meet Jesus in the air, 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18 “For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.” Yes, we ought to be comforted and comfort others with these true Scriptures of God’s Word, instead of twisting them into deceitful lies.

And immediately after Jesus says that His elect will be spared, he tells them of signs to watch for, verses 23-27 “Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before. Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”

I notice every time there is an eclipse or a super moon, etc. the heretics come out of the woodwork trying to deceive people more, and unfortunately, even some of His elect are falling for it. They like to quote the Scriptures that say “the sun will be darkened and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken,” to try and get people to believe that we are now in the Great Tribulation. We are not because God’s Spirit in His children is still here. But take note of the words they leave out that come right before that verse, Matthew 24:29 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days…” These things are to happen AFTER the tribulation.

If you believe that God’s Spirit through His church has already been taken from this earth, you are sadly deceived as well. Believe you me, things are going to be horribly abominable and sinful after God’s Spirit is removed from this earth. This earth will no longer have God’s fervent praying children crying out for mercy for mankind. Those left behind will go through such awful times that this world has never seen because our enemy and God’s enemy will have full control of this world. Just as hell was not created for man but for satan, the tribulation is not meant for God’s saints but for those who chose to reject Christ as God’s Son and the Saviour of this world. The tribulation is meant to try and change those hardened hearts to see that God is God and Jesus is His Son and Jesus came to save man from hell. And some will turn and accept Jesus as Saviour because of those horrible things to come. How sad that they will not do it now.

Christian Beware!

Beware of wolves in sheep’s clothing/false prophets! It is so disappointing that so many in this great country who call themselves Christians believe these charismatic liars because they do not ‘study to show themselves approved.’ In other words, they do not know God’s inerrant true Word which is the only true Bible, the King James Bible. The true Bible has not been corrupted by the many changes and deletions that have been made in all the other versions that man himself, on his own, has come up with. If we are truly born-again by the precious blood of Jesus, and if we do spend time in His True King James Word, we will know by the prompting of God’s Holy Spirit in us that men like Joel Osteen are indeed false teachers. (If you need to see for yourselves the truth of the corrupt versions, you may do so here: http://av1611.com/kjbp/charts.html and here: http://www.av1611.org/tracts.html#BibleVersions. Make yourselves aware! AND REMEMBER: “For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” Revelation 22:18, 19

These are just a handful of verses from God’s Word warning us about these false teachers! Below them you may watch a video which will open your eyes about the heretic, Joel Osteen, if you feel so inclined to make yourself aware of the truth. Be fooled no longer! There is absolutely no reason for any of us to be so deceived.

Matthew 7:15 – Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Matthew 7:21 – Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Matthew 24:24 – For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if [it were] possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Romans 16:18 – For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple. (It is ALL about the money!)

1 John 4:1-6 – Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.   (Read More…)

2 Peter 2:1 – But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

2 Corinthians 11:13-15 – For such [are] false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.   (Read More…)

Becoming a Godly Woman Part 2

English: Portrait of Rebecca Greenleaf Webster...

Titus 2:3 “The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;”

My last entry focused on what it means to be Godly with behaviour that becomes holiness. Today’s topic is false accusers. The Greek word for false accuser is diabolos (dee-ab’-ol-os). It means devil or slanderer. Nowadays we call them gossipers. I think we can all agree that gossiping is not Godly behaviour; it is quite the opposite and very harmful.

Gossipers are known for starting or spreading malicious rumors, and/or divulging personal information that someone has trusted them with. Noah Webster’s 1828 American Dictionary defines a gossiper as: “One who runs from house to house, tattling and telling news; an idle tattler.”

Are they always women? No, men have been known to do it too, but I would say that women are the weaker vessels in this area. Are they always older women? No, but older women are to set an example for the younger, inexperienced women. Have I ever gossiped about someone? Yes, I shamefully admit that I have. One thing though – the Holy Spirit has convicted me very quickly, helping me to make things right when I have joined in on gossiping. I was also taught, growing up, not to say anything behind a person’s back that I would not be willing to say to that person’s face.

Have I been hurt by others’ gossip? Most definitely, and God lays it on my heart to remember those times when I feel tempted to prattle on about someone else. I pray daily (and sometimes constantly) that God will guide and control my tongue along with my thoughts and actions. Left to my own devices, I cannot overcome any temptation.

I have seen precious souls leave God’s house because of one person’s thoughtless scuttlebutt. Some have found a new church home, but some were so devastated by such hurtful actions that they left the church never to return. Also, sadly, lifelong friendships have ended because of an uncontrolled tongue.

Our speech comes from one of two sources – Satan or God:

Words that are motivated by Satan are full of bitter jealousy, selfish ambition, earthly concerns and desires, nonspiritual thoughts and ideas, disorder, and evil.

In Contrast:

Words that are motivated by God are full of purity, peace, consideration for others, submission, mercy, sincerity, impartiality, and goodness.

If we are sincerely seeking to know God more each day, we are in His word, listening to His direction in our prayer time, busy about God’s work, and caring for our families. That leaves no time to focus on what may or may not be happening in other peoples’ private lives. The old saying, “idle minds are the devil’s workshop,” is appropriate here.

Luke 6:45 “A good man (or woman) out of the good treasure of his (or her) heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man (or woman) out of the evil treasure of his (or her) heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his (or her) mouth speaketh.” Additions in ( ) are mine.
