God’s Prayer Warriors

Image result for images for god's prayer warriors

As I have grown closer to the Lord over the past several years, I have become more of a prayer warrior than ever. There are times when I am awakened at 2:00, 3:00 or 4:00 a.m. with a driving need to lift up to God whomever He lays on my heart. The other night was one of those nights that I was wide awake at 4:00 a.m. and was so burdened by so many needs and petitions. One of which was one of my younger sisters who has battled breast cancer for more than 10 years, being told that they found a mass under her left arm with tendrils that go out in all directions. They said they would do an MRI to confirm and see how far and how deep the tendrils went. They were certain that she would need massive surgery to remove tissue under her left arm, her left breast and tissue beneath it, followed by chemotherapy and radiation treatments. These are all creditable cancer doctors in the Oklahoma Cancer Center who know their stuff. I remember how she had described the hell she went through, when she was first diagnosed years ago, with the chemo and how each treatment made her deathly, physically ill, and what it did to her body. She now deals with crohn’s disease and lost her gall bladder because of it.

I prayed for many who came to my mind like my Pastor’s wife who’s spine was injured during a car accident 2 years ago, and she is in a wheelchair and cannot stand or walk. She is now a paraplegic. Then there is another friend and sister in Christ who has degenerative arthritis who needs yet another surgery. Of course there are the prayers for loved ones, grown children and grandchildren, who by their fruits show that they have forgotten their first love in Jesus Christ our Saviour and gone the way of the world. I prayed for the state of our country and the rampant complacency and acceptance of sin, and on and on the requests went up to my Lord. I do not share this as boasting in any way. I am not more special or better than any other Child of God who is called as a prayer warrior. One thing about this calling is that we can become very overwhelmed and weary at times, if we allow ourselves to think in our own human capacity, “Your thoughts are not my thoughts.” and take our eyes off Jesus. Only God in Heaven knows all of our futures and He has plans for each of us for His splendid purpose. But at times, my human self feels overcome with sadness when I cannot see the answers that I think should be given.

I began pondering what Heaven is really like and how my mother, father, miscarried child, best friend, and many others are doing in Paradise. I asked the Lord if he would say hi to my momma for me and wondered if she ever goes to Him with petitions for me. Just pondering different thoughts and hoping and asking for God to send Jesus back for His church soon.

God responded with thoughts to my mind, “Remember that Heaven is Paradise, and there is no worry or sorrow there. Momma and the others are living a joy-filled life, that is beyond my comprehension as a human to understand. They are praising the Lord constantly as they do whatever they do in Heaven. It would not be a blissful, sinless place if they were able to look down on this earth and witness all the sinful abominations that take place here.” I decided that I would not want them to be able to witness what this world has become, and I began to feel the great hope and yearning that God has placed in all of His children for our home with Him in eternity. “This world is not my home, I am just a passin’ through!”

Then He said, “Read my Word.” I keep my Kindle Fire by my bed for reading before sleep at night, and many times when I awake I feel the need to read my Bible app on it. I had no idea where I had left off the last time that happened. This is the Scripture I believe God had saved for me at just this moment in time: 1 Corinthians 15:51-58 “Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”

I was then led to 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 “But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

There are no words to express the peace God blessed me with. I decided I would continue in prayer, asking for miracles in people’s lives, because Yahweh is the God of miracles. I leave the outcomes in His most wise and capable hands. I have prayed fervently since then that God would please be merciful and take this fearful, dreadful outcome that the cancer doctors were predicting, from my little sister because she has been through so very much already. I received word this morning that the team of surgeons and doctors met with her yesterday and were totally in awe and had never been able to give such good news to one in my sisters’ condition. The “mass with its tendrils” is now just a lump that they will remove next week. She will not have to undergo massive surgery nor chemotherapy, but she will have some radiation. Praise be to God Jehovah and to Him only!

I am deeply encouraged to stay fervent in my calling as Prayer Warrior, and I will strive to share the Good News of Jesus Christ to any and all who will hear! Time is indeed short, and God would that NONE should perish! I ask of all who God leads to this to MAKE YOUR CALLING SURE IN JESUS CHRIST! Do not be one left behind when Jesus calls God’s church home in the soon coming Rapture! We think the world is an evil place now, just wait until His prayer warriors are no longer here to bring petitions to Him for you.

Please DO NOT Wait! The Time Is Now!

I call to all who have been or are being deceived by satan and the false doctrine of his minions. There IS a Hell and you will spend ETERNITY in its torment if you continue to reject the Saviour we all need in Jesus Christ.

This is my plea today and every day till my death for those who continue to WAIT…

“Prayers: Too Late”

“Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me: for I will not hear thee.” Jeremiah 7: 16 (Something our country must understand before it’s too late.)

“There are two great prayer meetings in the Bible, where none of the participants got their requests. One took place in Hell (cf. Luke 16:24) and the other will be in the future, and will include some very important people (cf. Rev. 6:15-17). The rich man was praying to a saint, Abraham; and the people in the Tribulation are praying to rocks and mountains. Isaiah said these were “…a god that cannot save” (Isaiah 45:20).”

“It is a tragic station to arrive at when God has been so ignored that He will not acknowledge one’s prayers. P. T. Forsyth said, “Prayer is the greatest use of language possible.” Prayer is the key that unlocks the vaults of Heaven for the needy saint. Prayer is the prospector that discovers the golden vein of spiritual prosperity. Prayer is the powerful, personal possession of the redeemed. Prayer was the main course of study and lesson the disciples desired to learn (cf. Luke11:1).”

A young woman lay dying and said to her father, “why did you not tell me there was a lost world?” “Oh,” he replied, “God is merciful; there is not such place as Hell.” “Ah! But I know there is,” she moaned, “I feel it now, my feet are slipping over the brink. Why did you not tell me?

You may be careless in your prayer life, but conscience will awake sooner or later–Don’t wait too late to pray!” —Dr. Tim Green

It is totally your choice:

Eternity in Heaven with the Saviour OR Eternity in Hell and torment with satan!! ETERNITY IS FOREVER!

“Every Man, Woman, and Child!”

Today’s devotional is one that speaks truth about our world today. Thank you man of God, Dr. Tim Green-Revival in Our Time, for speaking God-breathed truth. I pray that today’s itching ears have not become deaf to it.

I am so thankful for God’s hand in leading my family and I to Pastor Brockman, also a true Man of God who is not afraid to speak from God’s Word on our sinful natures and our need for Jesus Christ as the only Saviour, as well as the great love God has for mankind. True men of God who do stick to God’s standards are very hard to find these days. I am also very blessed to have a strong Godly man in my husband who leads our family according to God’s standards, not man’s.

Judges 21:25 “In those days there was no king in Israel: every man did that which was right in his own eyes.”

“These closing words of the Book of Judges are a sad epitaph of the spiritual condition in Israel at the time, but also a contemporary headline of America, our churches and many of God’s people. It is fair to say that no man did that which was right in God’s eyes, if every man was doing his “own thing!” This contemptible commentary is being lived out in men’s lives, even by those who call themselves–Christians!

The problem arose partially due to the fact that there was no leadership; no king on the throne to guide and direct the people. Our problem today is that most folk will not recognize that the Lord should be the KING sitting on the throne of the heart. We have usurped His authority or just failed to realize, revere or respect His eternal right to rule over the affairs of our lives. We cry like the rabble in the story of the nobleman, “…We will not have this man to reign over us.” (Luke 19:14)

This problem is emphasized in our churches when pastors bow to the laity; it is exaggerated in our homes when wives are un-submissive, husbands unloving, and children are disobedient; and it is excused in our lives when we fail to yield to the One who bought and paid for us with His own life’s blood on Calvary. (Emphasis mine.)

May God help every one of us to endeavor to only do that which is right in the eyes of the God and our Saviour, Jesus Christ.”

The Work of the Holy Spirit – Part 1

Attributes of the Holy Spirit: Who He Is

* He possesses omniscience (He has infinite knowledge; He knows everything there is to know).

1 Corinthians 2:11, 12 “For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.”

* He possesses omnipresence (He can be everywhere at once).

Psalm 139:7 ” Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?”

*He possesses omnipotence (He has unlimited power).

Job 33:4 “The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.”

* He is Truth.

1 John 5:6 “This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.”

*He gives life.

Luke 11:13 “If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?”

* He possesses creative wisdom.

Isaiah 40:13 “Who hath directed the Spirit of the LORD, or being his counsellor hath taught him?”

* He possesses ALL the attributes of deity; He is God!

Acts 5:3, 4 “But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.”

The Last Week in the Life of Jesus – Day 5 – Thursday

The Passover Meal with His Disciples and the Institution of the Memorial Supper

(As you may have noticed, there was no post for the 4th day because there was evidently nothing that happened on Wednesday that was reported. Perhaps Jesus wanted it kept private. I am thinking it may have been one of those days he spent communicating privately with His Father in Heaven.)

Mark 14:22-26

“22 And as they did eat, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and brake it, and gave to them, and said, Take, eat: this is my body.

23 And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them: and they all drank of it.

24 And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.

25 Verily I say unto you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine, until that day that I drink it new in the kingdom of God.

26 And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives.”

John 13:1-30

“1 Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end.

2 And supper being ended, the devil having now put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, to betray him;

3 Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went to God;

4 He riseth from supper, and laid aside his garments; and took a towel, and girded himself.

5 After that he poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples’ feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded.

Jesus washing feet 05

6 Then cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet?

7 Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter.

8 Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me.

9 Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head.

10 Jesus saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit: and ye are clean, but not all.

11 For he knew who should betray him; therefore said he, Ye are not all clean.

12 So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you?

13 Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.

14 If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another’s feet.

15 For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.

16 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.

17 If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.

18 I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth bread with me hath lifted up his heel against me.

19 Now I tell you before it come, that, when it is come to pass, ye may believe that I am he.

20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.

21 When Jesus had thus said, he was troubled in spirit, and testified, and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.

22 Then the disciples looked one on another, doubting of whom he spake.

23 Now there was leaning on Jesus’ bosom one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved.

24 Simon Peter therefore beckoned to him, that he should ask who it should be of whom he spake.

25 He then lying on Jesus’ breast saith unto him, Lord, who is it?

26 Jesus answered, He it is, to whom I shall give a sop, when I have dipped it. And when he had dipped the sop, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon.

27 And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly.

28 Now no man at the table knew for what intent he spake this unto him.

29 For some of them thought, because Judas had the bag, that Jesus had said unto him, Buy those things that we have need of against the feast; or, that he should give something to the poor.

30 He then having received the sop went immediately out: and it was night.”

The Grotto of the Agony, James Tissot

Jesus’ Prayer of Agony in the Garden of Gethsemane

Luke 22:43, 44

“43 And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.

44 And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.”

John 17:1-26

“1 These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:

2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.

3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.

5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

6 I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.

7 Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee.

8 For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.

9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.

10 And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.

11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.

12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.

13 And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.

14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.

16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.

19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;

21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

25 O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.

26 And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.”

No More an Enabler

As a natural-born caregiver (oldest of 7 children), I have had tendencies in the past to attract alcoholic/addicts into my life. I used to think I had a neon sign on my forehead saying, “Here I am, abuse/use me…” My ex-husband was an abusive alcoholic/drug addict. When I decided I was leaving for good, he checked himself into a St. Luke’s rehab hospital for a 3-week program (he was back to his old ways within 3 months because he would not call on his sponsor and his ‘friends’ would not come around any more). It was during the family therapy groups there that I learned what enablers were. I also learned a lot about what it means to be an enabler from the Al-Anon program. Both parties have dysfunctional issues that need to be dealt with, mainly self-worth and who we are in Christ.

Enabling is codependency in action. An enabler is someone who responds to another’s problem by attempting to take care of the situation by making things all right. Feeling that the other person’s problem is most likely our fault, an enabler allows the behavior to determine our worth. Only when we are doing for others do we feel “I’m somebody, I’m appreciated, I have value.” This over-developed sense of responsibility makes it hard to let go and allow others to take responsibility for their own behavior and problems.

The solution to the quicksand of enabling is found in a new understanding of what God says about our relationships with others and about who God is and who we are.

Scripture makes it clear that no one is responsible for the actions of others – Romans 14:12 “So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.” From time to time I still need this reminder. I have learned to catch and overcome that feeling that “it must be my fault” or “I must have done something wrong” so I need to fix whatever is wrong when someone seems in a bad mood. Since I know I have done nothing amiss to them, I ask myself, “Could it be they are having a bad day, or maybe something happened to them today…” I then say a prayer for them and try to be an encouragement, even if just by giving a hug.

When the rich young ruler came to Jesus – Mark 10:17-22 “And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life? And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God. Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother. And he answered and said unto him, Master, all these have I observed from my youth. Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me. And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions.” Jesus spoke truth to him, then He let him make his own decision. He did not attempt to follow the young man or manipulate his actions–though He loved him dearly.

Letting go is hard, and those who may have become accustomed to our enabling abilities will not take kindly to our letting them go. In fact, they may react in very hateful ways and we may never see them again. However, understanding that God alone is the Great Shepherd – John 10:11 “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.”, and that He does His job well – Isaiah 40:11 “He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.” makes it possible for us to release even one greatly loved to the Lord. I have found that when I have let go of those who loved me for all I would do for them, I have released them into the loving arms of Jesus and His healing hand, because He loves each and every one of us as the individuals that we are.

The enabler, most of all, needs to understand who she/he is in Christ – Ephesians 1:17, 18 “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,” We are of great value because God loves us–not because of what we do, but for who we are as His beloved children. The Lord loved us before we had a chance to accomplish or fail at anything; and as a new creation in Christ Jesus, we are holy and blameless in His eyes – Ephesians 1:4 “According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:” God’s love and mercy toward us (even before the foundation of the world!) are rich and great – Ephesians 2:4, 5 “But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)”, and we are His children because God wills for us to be so, not because we have earned favor on our own merit – Ephesians 1:5 “Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will”.

After two failed marriages, I finally took time to know who I was and who I am, and I learned that God loves me for who I am in Him, a sinner saved by Grace. He also showed me (by sending me a man who loves me more than I thought it possible to be loved by any man, when I least expected it) that I am a pretty good ole gal worth loving. I in no way deserve abuse, and I am not responsible for how someone else may be feeling or what they may be going through. Had I taken time to grow in Him in my younger days, I would have known to go to Him about the soul mate He had for me.

My Identity in Christ

Who Am I In Christ? The best way to know who I am in Christ is to read what it says in His Word. I am to be more concerned with where I am in my walk with Him, than to fret over what ‘those of this world’ think of me.

1-John_1-7

I am chosen by God. Ephesians 1:4 “According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:”

I am adopted by God. Ephesians 1:5 “Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,”

I am a child of God in His family. 1 John 3:1 “Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.”

I am forgiven by God for all my sins. 1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

I am reconciled to God, in harmony with Him. Romans 5:10 “For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.”

I am seen by God as holy, blameless, above reproach. Colossians 1:21,22 “And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight.”

I am sealed with God’s Holy Spirit. Ephesians 1:13 “In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,”

I am called to accomplish God’s purpose. Romans 8:28,30 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose…Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.”

I am a full citizen among God’s people. Ephesians 2:19 “Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;

I am justified–declared right in God’s sight. Romans 5:1 “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:”

I am sanctified–set apart by God’s Spirit. 1 Corinthians 6:11 “And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.”

I am redeemed–bought with Christ’s blood. Ephesians 1:7 ” In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;”

I am cleansed by Christ’s blood for all my sin. 1 John 1:7 “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”

I am an heir of God and a joint-heir with Christ. Romans 8:16,17 “The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.”

I am complete in Christ. Colossians 2:10 “And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:”

I am an ambassador for Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:20 “Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.”

I am being conformed to the character of Christ. Romans 8:29 “For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.”

If you have been born again through the blood of Jesus Christ, you can claim all these same promises for yourself, and I am glad to call you my sister/brother in Christ.

THANK YOU, LORD, FOR GIVING ME WORTH AND LETTING ME SEE THAT I HAVE PURPOSE!
